Summary0007581: The released kernel is an el7 kernel and not ClearOS
DescriptionI understand that el7 kernels do not work properly in ClearOS and there seem to be a number of reports of issues with el7 kernels at the moment. My 7.2.0 kernel is 3.10.0-327.3.1.el7.x86_64 from clearos-updates and I think this is incorrect. As there has been no answer the the forum thread: https://www.clearos.com/clearfoundation/social/community/kernel-confusion-well-at-least-in-my-mind [^] which comes as a result if this sort of issue, I'm raising the bug.
Steps To ReproduceDo a yum update to the latest 7.2.0 version then "uname -r" or "yum list kernel*"

In December 2015, we released a ClearOS kernel with the el7 tag instead of our normal v7 tag. You can see this change in the build system logs:

http://koji.clearos.com/koji/packageinfo?packageID=190 [^]

The latest kernel was rebuilt with the v7 tag and is now available in updates-testing and/or updates:

yum --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing,clearos-updates upgrade kernel
