Summary0006141: Firewall blocks OpenVPN access to External network subnet only
DescriptionOpenVPN runs afoul of the ClearOS firewall when pushing traffic to the External subnet interface. All other networks, including Internet-based networks are accessible except for the network immediately in front of ClearOS.
Steps To ReproduceTwo ways to reproduce this problem. Either specify the network of the External interface in the clients.conf file or perform a redirect gateway rule with 'push "redirect-gateway def1"'

With the latter, you will see that the internet access is functional per design and all lan networks as well, just not the network immediately in front of the ClearOS server.

Can't push a route automatically as it may be a route to a public network. The user can fix it by adding to the EXTRALANS parameter in /etc/clearos/network.conf.
