| Description | For various reasons, servers may not have a domainSID or localSID. This can occur on server name changes, domain joins and other. A simple check to see if the server has a domainSID and localSID using the following should indicate a failed condition requiring support: net getdomainsid net getlocalsid The following is a result of a failure to produce a domainSID: [root@server ~]# net getdomainsid Could not fetch local SID If this condition shows up on a server configured to be a domain controller or backup domain controller, the following message should appear as a warning in Webconfig: Failed to lookup local security identifier for this server. If this condition persists for more than 5 minutes, please contact support. | ||||||||
