Summary0000214: Smbclient fails to connect to Windows 7 with Live Sign-In Assistant installed
DescriptionForum thread (related to BackupPC) but specfically an issue with smbclient 3.5.x and Windows 7

http://www.clearfoundation.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,232/catid,23/func,view/id,10522/limit,10/limitstart,80/#21446 [^]

Samba bug filed here and patch issued for 3.5.x trees
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7577 [^]

When the Live assistant is installed, it changes the SPNEGO response during authentication and includes additional mechToken field.

Will this be intergated into ClearOS5.2 or will it appear for 6.0? may have implications for other instances where smbclient is used

Thanks Tim. It looks like Samba 3.5.6 has the fix. I'll push that out shortly!
