| Summary | 0017891: Reduce confusion with IDS and IDS Updates |
| Description | The "IDS Updates" app used to be under the "Gateway -> Intrusion Protection" menu, adjacent to IDS and IPS. In ClearOS 7, this app was moved to the "Cloud" category and became disconnected from the IDS and IPS. ClearOS 7 users often don't know where to find "IDS Updates" or even now the app exists.
Note: the name change to "IDS Updates" in ClearOS 7 is also confusing. The app delivers both IDS and IPS updates, not just IDS. In fact, the biggest value add from the app comes from the IPS signatures! For another tracker.
