Summary | 0001607: CUPS web interface will most of the time not allow access the “admin” pages where you can change/add printers
Description | Reported by end user: Accessing the less protected CUPS-pages, like watching ongoing jobs, logs etc always work. Tried Firefox and IE, no difference. Anyway, the second evening (!) it did allow me to change settings so I could set up my locally (LPT + USB) attached printers… But later, I could not get back in… I see no pattern in when I am allowed to access the pages and when I am not, but intervals lengths are more than 1 hour. At one instance I could access the admin pages from one WinPC but not from another on my LAN.
