DescriptionEnable addition of users to built-in windows networking groups to prevent the need for external LDAP tools such as ldapadmin. Power Users / Backup Users / System Operators Guests etc

Required for better domain control when setting up tiered windows user environments.

Yup, the impact of exposing these groups needs to reviewed.

The UNIX group that is mapped to the Windows Group should be exposed in the group editor. It should be possible to add users to these groups, but not to delete the groups if they are empty.

These groups are essential to MS Windows interoperability and the ability to assign group memberships is part and parcel of Windows/Linux interop. A Linux user should not be able to be added if the user does not have Windows file and print access to the ClearOS system.

I would like to second this request. Any Windows admin will be accustomed to working with these other system groups.
