| Summary | 0001289: Connection failed window supplies URL but URL is not linkable. | ||||||||
| Description | The connection failed window in the proxy provides the URL that you were going to but the URL is not a link. This means that if the site is merely down temporarily, you have to re-type the URL in the address field of the browser. Making the URL a link will all a user to reclick the URL to try again. The same exists for block pages in the content filter. Admins who are trying to whitelist a site are forced to retype the URL in the address bar. | ||||||||

Tricky. It's an untrusted URL, so linking was removed due to the potential security risk (XSS). We could try to "defang" the URL? |
