| Summary | 0001176: Firewall restart on Squid shutdown is premature | ||||||||
| Description | When the web proxy is shutdown, the firewall is notified about the event via clearsync. The event notification occurs at the start of the shutdown process, but Squid takes a long time to shutdown (10 to 30 seconds). The result: the firewall is restarted *before* the web proxy has had a chance to fully shutdown. Result: no web surfing! | ||||||||
