| Description | Installing OpenVPN either through the webconfig or yum does not create the file /etc/openvpn/clients.conf. Then if you go to Webconfig > Network > OpenVPN you will not be able to start OpenVPN. The OpenVPN package is /openvpn-2.1-10.rc20.v5.i386.rpm. | ||||||||
| Additional Information | As a workround, copy the file /usr/share/system/modules/openvpn/clients.conf to /etc/openvpn/. This will then allow the Webconfig to work | ||||||||

Hi NickH, It looks like this happens on systems that have been upgraded from ClarkConnect 4.x. Can you confirm that this was the case in your situation? The app-openvpn installer is responsible for creating this file, but it won't do it if the box was previously a ClarkConnect 4.x system. |

Yes, I started with CC4.3 then upgraded to 5.0 and ClearOS, but I never had OpenVPN installed before. |
