Summary0010361: Mail aliases do not work if account access is password protected
DescriptionLDAP accounts (users and groups) can be exposed in webconfig in 3 modes:

- disabled (default)
- anonymous
- password protected

The majority of client software works fine with anonymous mode. For example, the Thunderbird global address book can access ClearOS accounts in anonymous mode. If "password protected" mode is used, then the mail aliases system will fail.

Log sample:
warning: dict_ldap_lookup: /etc/postfix/imap-aliases.cf: Search base... not found: 32: No such object
warning: ldap:/etc/postfix/imap-aliases.cf lookup error for "user@example.com"
