| Description | In version 5.x, the mailpostfilter does an LDAP lookup to verify the recipient. It also does an LDAP lookup on in mailpostfilter (i.e. at delivery time). In version 6, mailprefilter was tightened up to reject all misaddressed mail at the pre-filter stage (i.e. before antivirus, antispam, quarantine, etc). For this reason, the LDAP lookup at delivery time (mailpostfilter) was commented out. This change needs further review. See Filter_Incoming.php in the SMTP Server app. | ||||||||
