(0000399) user2 2012-01-02 13:33	The DansGuardian documentation states that the maxchildren limit is 250 but that it depends on the OS. On ClearOS, the max FD_SETSIZE is set to 1024, so maxchildren can be set to 1018 or lower.

(0000400) user2 2012-01-02 14:23	To go above the 1018 limit, it looks like it would require internal changes to DansGuardian. The select() call is used and this can support up to FD_SETSIZE. The select() implementation would have to be changed in order change the limit.
