Summary | 0019381: Add Let's Encrypt to certificate check widget |
Description | Many apps require at least a self-signed certificate to start up. For example, OpenVPN uses certificate key/pairs for part of the VPN authentication process. To help app developers, the Certificate Manager provides a standard "certificate status widget" to make sure at least one certificate has been created. This widget can be incorporated into any app.
Now that Let's Encrypt is available, this "certificate status widget" should be extended to detect a Let's Encrypt certificate.
Note: some apps (notably OpenVPN) need to have a certificate authority defined, so the widget should still handle this case.
