| Summary | 0018221: Incoming firewall opens incorrect port the the Service SMTPS |
| Description | If you open the incoming firewall to SMTPS it opens incoming tcp:587 which is incorrect. It should open incoming tcp:465. This would then match postfix which is also configured to use SMTPS by default which is correctly configured to use tcp:465
Note that a fix to change the port directly to 465 could be dangerous if there is anyone like me who opened the SMTPS Service to open port 587. Possibly it should rename SMTPS to STARTTLS then add a new option for SMTPS |
| Steps To Reproduce | In the Webconfig > Network > Firewall > Incoming Firewall > Add > Add by: Service > SMTPS, you will see port 587 opening. |
