Summary | 0001608: Printing, via samba, from my WinPC’s on my LAN does not work without a workaround.
Description | Reported by end user: I had to manually change the file: /etc/cups/cupsd.location.conf and remove the line “Require group print_server_plugin” to get it working. This indicates some sort of authorization problem I guess… Note: On the WinPC, I am using the user-name(s) + passwords that have been entered into my ClearOS server. I have no problems to access my /home directory via samba and I have made sure the users are marked to belong to the group “print_server_plugin”. I do not understand where the fault could be.
