Summary | 0001568: Tone down Samba restart event |
Description | The Samba system needs to be restarted on an LDAP directory change event. Currently, this is done by watching for changes in the /etc/samba/*.conf file, but it should only be necessary to watch the /etc/samba/smb.winbind.conf and /etc/samba/smb.ldap.conf files. The former generates unnecessary and potentially disruptive smb restarts.
Note: we might as well create a generic "LDAP Directory Configuration Change" event too. |
