Summary | 0001381: Remove Samba 3 extension from Base group in comps.xml
Description | When users and groups are initialized in ClearOS, the "net" tools in Samba are used to create the necessary OpenLDAP attributes (e.g. SambaSID). (note: nmb, smb and winbind daemons are not required, just the samba-common package is required). In order to support Samba 4, samba-common should not be installed by default - this dependency needs to be removed from the "Base" group in comps.xml: to delete: <packagereq type="mandatory">app-samba-extension-core</packagereq> The install wizard will handle the Samba 3 versus Samba 4 decision.
