Summary0003651: Changing Primary/Backup status from GUI does not restart syswatch
DescriptionSyswatch restart is needed to pick up on the new state of multiwan.
Additional InformationPull in library deps:

use \clearos\apps\base\Daemon as Daemon;
clearos_load_library('base/Daemon');

And add:

// Restart syswatch
//-----------------

$syswatch = new Daemon('syswatch');
$syswatch->restart();
