Summary | 0003541: Clean up EPEL ClamAV packaging
Revision | 2015-07-13 17:34 by user2
Description | A number changes are required on the ClamAV packaging done by EPEL. This was implemented in tracker 0002025 and needs to be re-implemented with new github repo. - Merge a number of sub-packages to harmonize the differences across ClearOS versions - Remove desktop-like behavior - Get rid of weird sysvinit/systemd packaging. Why does EPEL package the SysV RPMs when systemd is in use (clamav-milter-sysvinit and clamav-scanner-sysvinit)? - Remove multi-server support (e.g. one ClamAV instance for mail, a different ClamAV instance for the web proxy). Cute feature, but we don't support it right now. Perhaps in a future release. - Remove milter support. The mail stack in ClearOS is not implemented with milter. - Put tmpfiles in /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d, not /etc/tmpfiles.d (that's for admin-created tmpfiles, not system tmpfiles). |
