| Description | Hello everyone, When I enable "Allow File Server Upload" I am not able to access the web root folder "/var/www/html" from a Windows client with the "winadmin" or any other user. | ||||||||
| Additional Information | ===== Original Report below - please read entire thread ===== When I check "/etc/samba/smb.conf" I do not ahve any text "/var/www/html". When I add: [webroot] comment = Web Root Directories path = /var/www/html read only = No browseable = No available = Yes I can now see the folder by using "\\<server name>\webroot | ||||||||

Hi - you are better off getting support from the forums than posting questions here When you enable file server upload it is in fact stored in /etc/samba/flexshare.conf not smb.conf Note that the share is hidden by default (browseable = no). You can navigate there by using \\servername\mywebsite.com and login with the right user credentials |
