| Description | USB install where the dd of the image is placed to the USB does not work. | ||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | On mac, create a dd image of the current 6.8.0.174473 image onto USB: $ diskutil list /dev/disk2 (external, physical): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: FDisk_partition_scheme *15.6 GB disk2 1: 0xEF 6.4 MB disk2s2 $ diskutil unmountdisk /dev/disk2 Unmount of all volumes on disk2 was successful $ sudo dd if=~/Downloads/ClearOS_Professional-6.8.0.174473-x86_64.iso of=/dev/rdisk2 bs=1024000 Password: 672+1 records in 672+1 records out 688986112 bytes transferred in 141.443513 secs (4871104 bytes/sec) $ diskutil eject /dev/disk2 Ensure that BIOS on target machine is set to non-UEFI mode. Attempt to boot to USB. RESULT: USB not booted and secondary method in BIOS is attempted (network, hard disk, et al) | ||||||||
