Summary | 0009501: First run wizard does not let you cancel marketplace selection |
Description | When installing 7.2 the first-run wizard ran. When selecting apps from the marketplace (by function?), around p4 with a lot of the mail apps I could not see properly the various anti-malaware and anti-spam options at the bottom of the page as they did not display correctly. I ended up selecting apps I had to pay for without knowing it. When I got to the end of the wizard, it wanted paying. If I went back to the page where I think I made the mistake, the extra options did not display so I could not de-select them and there is not a de-select all option either so I was stuck in a loop. Fortunately I knew to change the url to whatever/stop and the wizard would stop.
There needs to be a way of going back over the selection or a deselect all button. |

Sorry, but I guessed at the category.
Note there is a second implicit bug where the marketplace options did not display correctly so I could just see narrow names at the bottom of the selection page. This led me to making the incorrect selection in the first place. |

I found the issue with the poor layout...easy fix.
As for deleting a paid app....did you see what I'm seeing on the final 'confirmation' page prior to forking off the yum install thread...eg. the table with list of apps/cost and ability to delete?
Screenshot being uploaded next... |

Nick,
I also fixed the logic/display so that if a user clicks on "Previous" and runs through that wizard again, they will see selected "Optional Apps" based on their install selection that may/may not be free, and can deselect them as desired. |
