0000093: Make sure sa-update successfully runs as soon as possible
On January 1, 2010, a SpamAssassin rule based on the year started to cause a false positive. The rule FH_DATE_PAST_20XX added a spam score for any mail with the date 2010 to 2099. The folks over at SpamAssassin fixed the rule and the update appeared on ClearOS boxes via the sa-update script (a cron job).

There is still one problem. A ClearOS system installed with the old SpamAssassin version will still have the old rules in place. For this reason, tt is important that sa-update runs on the first successful connection to the Internet and not just on a regular cron interval.
