Summary | 0000709: Once enabled, bandwidth manager is impossible to disable via Webconfig |
Description | Once values are set in the bandwidth manager up/down, it is impossible to completely disable the service (eg. BANDWIDTH_QOS=off in /etc/clearos/bandwidth.conf).
This can be required in troubleshooting ISP bandwidth issues (eg. seeing 30% drop in speed).
Suggest that when a user enters 0 and 0 in upload and download, call the function:
set_engine_state(FALSE);
in the controller. This function is currently never called.
