Summary | 0000639: Squid proxy authentication failing with Internet Explorer |
Description | As reported in the forum here, OK with Firefox
http://www.clearfoundation.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,232/catid,27/func,view/id,41518/#42277 [^]
Work around is to disable NTLM auth as mentioned in the post. I suspect the issue is to do with the attemped authentication using the machine WORKGROUP\user credentials which may fail if the machine is not joined or part of the ClearOS domain. Perhaps flag to disable/enable NTLM authentication? |
Steps To Reproduce | ClearOS in gateway mode, proxy enabled with authentication turned on. Use IE to authenticate against the proxy. Attempts NTLM authentication first and fails. |
