Summary0000417: Loosen password restrictions
DescriptionThe following characters are not allowed in passwords: |;* In addition, the password must start with a letter or number.

The character restrictions look like a lame way to avoid escaping command line hacks - note: I have been guilty of writing such lameness ;-) I searched the Internet for services that required a password to start with a letter or number - nothing relevant came up. Perhaps it was a Windows for Workgroups limitation (ask your Dad)?
