| Summary | 0022831: Too many ports opened for FTP and FTPS standard service | ||||
| Description | If you open the firewall to the FTP service, both tcp:20 and tcp:21 are opened. In reality only tcp:21 is needed and the nf_conntrack_ftp module looks after port 20 (which is an outbound port) It is the same for the FTPS ports 989 and 990 where both are opened when it should be just 990. Note for FTP Homes, only 2121 is opened so this rule is OK. | ||||
