0002211: Data from certificate manager is reported invalid by Comodo.com and Gandi.net
Hi!

I tried purchasing an SSL cert from Gandi.net using data from https://w.x.y.z:81/app/certificate_manager [^]

The Gandi automated tool doesn't let me proceed because of an issue with the data I provide. I contacted support, and they responded:

"If I check https://secure.comodo.com/utilities/decodeCSR.html [^] it seems the CSR is invalid. Our validation tool accepted all CSR, if it is correctly formatted."

Indeed, I get "-10 The CSR cannot be decoded!"

Thanks!

ClearOS does not support generating CSRs, could you clarify?

Sorry about that. I totally misunderstood the nature of the downloadable files at app/certificate_manager

I forget what happened but maybe I assumed that "The SSL Certificate Manager module can also create Certificate Signing Request (CSR) certificates." from 5.2 was also valid in 6.x
http://old.clearcenter.com/support/documentation/clearos_enterprise_5.2/user_guide/certificate_manager [^]

So this bug report becomes a feature request :-)

Thanks!
