Summary0000220: Web enabled flexshares to automatically create CNAME entry in hosts file
DescriptionWeb enabled flexshares have two URL's
http://mydomain.com/flexshare/share [^]
http://share.mydomain.com [^]

The second URL does not function locally until an entry is added to the hosts file (Local DNS server). Request that this entry should automatically be added to permit local access as presented by the webconfig so that both URL's work.

An option could also be added to warn users that they have to manually create a CNAME record with their domain registrar for external access.

In addition you may wish to modify the default behaviour of the web server, so that the alias is not *.mydomain.com rather only www.mydomain.com, and prevents access to other CNAME addresses created by the flexshare system
