| Summary | 0000206: Add options for Proxy Authentication |
| Description | The standard proxy authentication mechanism requires user interaction on the client end. This does not work well with applications that need access to the internet in the background (Internal servers, AV updates, Windows Updates, etc).
One solution is to add field to the GUI for the addition of websites that do not require user authentication (modifies squid.conf).
A better solution is to allow the option of selecting the authentication mechanism and include NTLM and Ident.
