| Summary | 0019561: Create the dnsmasq WPAD record with an IP address rather than FQDN |
| Description | Just to keep my thoughts together, it would be better to create the dnsmasq 252 record with the interface IP address rather than FQDN. This gets round https://tracker.clearos.com/view.php?id=19481 [^] and would separate the DHCP method from the DNS method. So:
dhcp-option=enp5s0,252,http://172.22.22.1/wpad.dat [^]
would be preferred over:
dhcp-option=enp5s0,252,http://wpad.test-7x.howitts.test/wpad.dat [^] |
