| Description | By default, the Cyrus IMAP server does not auto-create mailboxes. Instead, the mailbox needs to be created by an administrator using the "cyradm" command, e.g.:
# cyradm --user root 127.0.0.1
> cm users/test (or something like that)
In ClearOS 5, the nasty "kolabd/ldapsync" script handled this. In ClearOS 6, Red Hat included a patch that allowed the auto-creation of mailboxes, so no messy synchronization was required. Unfortunately, this patch has been dropped in RHEL 7, and the original author has not released a patch for the Cyrus 2.4.x version. There is an alternative patch for this version here (but in 403s):
