Summary | 0001166: Add policies to LDAP schema |
Description | The basic policy engine used for apps is required. For now, only global policies are required.
What does this mean? Here's an example for the new "Administrators" app. Users in the "branch_it_support" group can be granted access to all the reports in ClearOS: Network Report, Resource Report, etc. This policy is stored in LDAP and would apply to all ClearOS systems (master/slaves) in a distributed network. One very small step towards "Central Management". |
